Dean Fortin, Mayor of Victoria - Economy, Affordable Housing, Amalgamation, Homelessness, Johnson Street Bridge, Harbour Walkway Plan and more…

September 11, 2014

We sat down recently with Dean Fortin, the Mayor of Victoria, British Columbia to talk about, well, pretty much everything.

We really wanted to get a sense of what it's like to be Mayor. Is it the coolest job on earth, or what?
We also talked about a number of issues specific to the Victoria municipality, and the region.
We also learned about what John does on his weekends (in the first minute, no less).
And in case you missed it, the Mayor dumped a bucket of ice water over Paul's head for the ALS ice bucket challenge. The video is embedded below (or, if you are on iTunes or TuneIn radio, look it up on Paul's personal channel at youtube.com/PaulHolmes1337).
